Much of the Connolly Center including the Pool Locker Rooms, the North Court, the Racquetball court concourse, and visiting team locker rooms will be undergoing renovation starting early June and will run through the 2015 Fall Quarter.
The Connolly Center renovation specifically addresses the Title IX requirements for intercollegiate athletics by enhancing the student-athlete and spectator experience. The project includes seating and visual enhancements in the North Court, as well as newly configured locker rooms and spectator amenities. The new Connolly Complex will continue to serve not only Athletics, but all student users and an array of university events.
For those who are swimmers, the pool locker rooms (bathrooms, showers, lockers, sauna, etc) will all be unavailable. You are more than welcome to use locker facilities in the Eisiminger Fitness Center including the showers in the Wet locker rooms. We also have two Gender Inclusive locker rooms including restrooms and showers in the Fitness Center, one on each floor.
For those of you who will be utilizing the pool we will be offering:
We are also looking into a temporary shower for rinsing off only on the pool deck.
We apologize for the inconveniences this will cause, and as a team we will work to meet your needs to the best of our abilities. We greatly appreciate your patience and loyalty to Seattle University Recreation! Thank you for working with us on this process as we continue to make every effort to continue to provide access to the pool, Astro Gym, and South Court facilities while much of the facility is under renovation.
