This study tour will provide students the opportunity to visit and study the world’s sixth biggest economy: the United Kingdom of Great Britain, and within that a small semi-independent country, Scotland, a country that is proud of its distinct identity and currently governed by a party dedicated to pursuing complete independence.

The tour in Scotland will involve visits to financial institutions such as the Royal Bank of Scotland, #38 in Fortune 500 and a big ‘victim/culprit’ of the financial crisis. We will explore the Scotch whisky industry a major foreign currency earner for the UK, Scotland’s media and gaming industry, an arena in which Scotland is a world leader. We will also visit the University of Edinburgh Informatics Center one of the World’s top three, along with Stanford, MIT, etc.
