Giving Back

Be the Change

What can you do to affect positive change in today's turbulent times? Making an annual gift to Albers directly impacts the quality Jesuit Catholic education Albers delivers to students and is an investment in the next generation of ethical business leaders for a just and humane world.

On April 17th this year, Albers held a special "ethics day" in which top Northwest business practitioners like Costco's Jim Sinegal and Pemco's Stan McNaughton, joined educators in the classroom for every one of our 55 courses offered that day to discuss and analyze an ethical dilemma they faced in their careers.  This was a special day for our students to focus on real-world ethical issues in business, but the topic arises in every course at Albers all year long.

Each year our faculty gives 110% to educating students in the tradition of competence, conscience, and compassion.  From Bill Weis taking leadership, teamwork and emotional intelligence into the outdoors to Leo Simpson guiding our Enactus team to national honors in Minneapolis, or Harriet Stephenson's work with students doing microfinance for women entrepreneurs in Africa; Albers educators strive to do more for our students every day.

The potent mix of technical acumen, experience, service, and ethics that are the hallmarks of an Albers business education cannot be funded by tuition alone.  Your gift can make a significant difference in a student's education and be a catalyst for positive change in our community.

How to Give Back

Using our Online Contribution Form you may designate your gift to any fund at Albers School of Business and Economics or Seattle University.  You may chose to give to the MBA program, Accounting Associates, Entrepreneurship, the Ethics Center, and many others - or make a gift to wherever the need is greatest through the Dean's Fund at Albers.

If you have any questions about giving online, gift annuities, or transferring stock, please contact Taryn Coles at colesta@seattleu.edu or 206-296-6115.
