"You Make it All Go So Easy"
Steen Halling, on working with Conference & Event Services for the International Human Science Research Conference, wrote, "You make it all go so easy, and I know it takes a lot of work behind the scenes to make it so easy for us."

It Says a Lot About Seattle University
From a guest that attended a chemistry conference: "I thought that Seattle U. was a beautiful urban campus. The conference
support staff and residence hall staff were so friendly that I felt at home right away. I also liked that we were meeting every day in a "green" building. The accomodations were fine. The food was very good.
"Please pass along my thanks and appreciation to all of the Seattle U. folks for everything. Such consideration and care given to guests who are really complete strangers says a lot about an institution."

Commencement 2011
KeyArena at Seattle Center was at-capacity Sunday, June 12, as family and friends gathered to celebrate the graduation of the Class of 2011. It was an ebullient and celebratory scene that began the day before with the baccalaureate Mass and brunch. There were 1,206 undergraduates and 864 graduate students who received their degrees this year. At the undergraduate ceremony, Japanese American students who were forced to leave the university during World War II were awarded honorary degrees. Internationally known landmine activist Tun Channareth was awarded an honorary degree at the graduate ceremony.
