Ordinarily, a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 (on a scale where an A is 4.00) is required for transfer admission consideration. Applications are reviewed carefully; primary consideration given to course selection, academic trend, and individual course performance. The average GPA of admitted transfer students is 3.44.

Students applying to Seattle University apply directly to the major they intend to pursue.
