It's the third week of my junior year, and I've just emailed a few advisors about doing a double-major with Creative-Writing and Digital Design.
How typical of me.
I'm not 100% sure about declaring a double-major with only 6 quarters left in my college career, but I'll never know unless I ask. In all honesty, I barely know anything. Asking is a must. I can't allow myself to claim that things are impossible before exhausting every resource of knowledge in determining whether or not that is, in fact, true. Besides, "impossible" is such a definite word; it is much too definite of a word is such an upredictable world. Everything is possible in some way, shape, or form, especially in double-majoring. Seattle University's mission revolves around the idea of educating the whole person, the whole soul. Here's my chance to take advantage of that wonderfully open ideology. We'll see where it takes me.
In other news, I've just joined volleyball club. It's time to treat my body better and give it the exercise and fun it deserves. Volleball isn't quite my forte, but I love being active. That gets me some points for effort, right? Now that I think of it, I haven't gone to pracitce for a sport since I played judo in high school. Gulp.
However, dancing has kept me up to par. It's insanely aerobic--have you ever done Zumba? I'm dying after 10 minutes of grapevines to Shakira or jumping to the Black Eyed Peas. And don't get me started on Tahtitian dancing. Throw me in for one minute, and I'm done for the day. Speaking of which, my first Tahitian class for the quarter starts today at 5:30pm. I'm ready for some blood, sweat, and tears! Just kidding--for the most part.
