 The Department of Public Safety is located in the 1313 Columbia Building (CLMB), room 002. Community members have afterhours card swipe access to the main entry doors of the CLMB to connect with Public Safety or call 206.296.5990

Electric Vehicle Charging 

Location:  Pigott Visitor Lot

(P1 on the campus map)

 

  • Max 4 hour limit
  • Must have a current SU parking permit to park on campus
  • May only park in the designated charging spots while you are actively charging your car
    • University Guests with visitor parking permits:  When your car is done charging, you will need to move your car to an unreserved parking spot in the Pigott Visitor parking lot.  If the lot is full, you will need to move your car to another on-campus parking facility.
    • Current SU employees and students with iParq parking permits:
      • Before 3pm Weekdays:  When your car is done charging before 3pm weekdays, you will need to move your car out of the Pigott Visitor parking lot to another on-campus parking facility.  Monday-Friday 7am-3pm the Pigott Visitor parking lot is visitor only parking. 
      • After 3pm Weekdays and Weekends:  When you car is done charging after 3pm weekdays and on weekends, you will need to move your car to an unreserved parking spot in the Pigott Visitor parking lot.  If the lot is full, you will need to move your car to another on-campus parking facility.  
  • You may not unplug the charger from another vehicle to charge your car.
  • Beginning Tuesday 3/1/22, the number of chargers is increasing from 3 to 8. Chargers are level 2.
