ORCA Passes and Prices

ORCA Lift Bus Subsidy

At the beginning of each academic term, the student must purchase E-Purse and/or Monthly Pass from Orca, and the Orca product(s) must be loaded directly onto the student's Orca Lift card.  Student’s home residential address must be current with Seattle University.

If the student purchases less than the Recommended Student Cost as listed in the chart below, Seattle University’s Orca Lift subsidy will match the dollar amount the student purchased at the beginning of each academic term.

Example: Quarter student living in King County purchases $20 E-Purse onto the Orca Lift card, Seattle University will only subsidize $20 (not $81).

If the student purchases more than the Recommended Student Cost as listed in the chart below, Seattle University’s Orca Lift subsidy will be the Max SU Subsidy as listed in the chart below.

Example: Quarter student living in King County purchases $100 E-Purse onto the Orca Lift card, Seattle University will only subsidize $81 (not $100).

This also applies to students living outside of King County.
