Obtaining an ORCA LIFT Card

Qualifying for ORCA LIFT

You will need to provide official identification and proper documentation to be screened for eligibility. These documents when applying for an Orca LIFTCard.

Obtaining Your ORCA LIFT Card

Currently, there are two different ways to obtain your Seattle University associated ORCA LIFT card. Please see below and note that each option has specific guidelines.

  1. Attend an ORCA To-Go event on campus (See Important dates). Bring all required documentation to apply for an Orca LIFT card. Read more about documentation to bring.
  2. Take verification and eligibility documents to the Seattle Public Health office Monday-Thursday 8:30-4:30 p.m. This particular office is attached to the downtown King County Metro office, located at 201 S Jackson St. Upon verification, you will sign a consent form and walk next door to the Metro Pass Sales Office to get an “unassociated” ORCA LIFT card. You will simply specify that you have an “unassociated” LIFT card when you request your subsidy.
