Must be enrolled minimum half time for the academic term: Fall Semester, Fall Quarter, Winter Quarter, Spring Semester, Spring Quarter, Summer Semester, or Summer Quarter.
Orca Lift subsidy requests must be submitted before the deadline each academic term. Subsidy requests from a prior term cannot be processed.
During Summer Quarter and Summer Semester, if you are not taking classes but have an internship or externship that you are receiving Seattle University credit (minimum half time for the academic term), and it will be on your transcript, you are eligible for an Orca Lift subsidy.
During Summer Quarter and Summer Semester, if you are not taking classes but working on campus and employed by Seattle University and working for minimum half of the Summer Quarter or Summer Semester term, you would be eligible for an Orca Lift subsidy. Please note that your Seattle University supervisor will need to verify your Seattle University summer employment by sending an e-mail to Public Safety at email@example.com. E-mail must include the student’s name, the work schedule, start and end dates of employment, department or office in which the student is working, and supervisor’s name and contact information.
Please note that 1-week intersession classes do not qualify to receive an Orca Lift subsidy.
University community members may only have one university sponsored transportation/ parking product per academic term. Orca LIFT users seeking an Orca LIFT subsidy may only purchase a supplemental parking permit.
If you have outstanding parking citations, the Orca Lift subsidy cannot be processed.
If you receive an Orca Lift subsidy, you are ineligible to purchase from Seattle University a Puget Pass or Washington State Ferry (WSF) walk-on passenger ferry pass in the same academic term.
