Faculty and Community Fellows

The Center welcomes faculty and community fellows for the 2020-2021 Academic Year.  Center Fellows work with the Director to explore a praxis-based integration of the work of the Center with the fellows’ own method, scholarship, and professional practice.  Fellows receive a stipend and Center Student Affiliate resources, and they meet regularly throughout the year to support one another, to meet with the Center Team, and to attend one of the Center Advisory Councils.  Fellows, who are scholars and experienced practitioners, are asked to contribute to one of two Soundings in the academic year, and to seek further engagement with the themes of the Center.  Fellows are asked to assist the Center in addressing the wicked challenges within society, and to understand the values that religious traditions and spiritual pathways offer for responding to these challenges today.

A Canvas online resource reflecting the work of these scholars will be created and shared with all University and Religious Stakeholders

Student & Alumni Scholars

In its inaugural year, The Center Student & Alumni Scholars is a cohort of Students and Alumni associated with the degree programs within the School of Theology and Ministry, who serve alongside the Faculty and Community Fellows.  At each quarterly meeting, Scholars and Fellows discuss a specific challenge in society with at least three intersecting complexities (for instance, Leadership-Women-Race, or Gratitude-Society-Power).  A Canvas resource for sharing with all university and religious stakeholders, is created for sharing.
