Resources for Purchasers

Resources for SU Purchasers

Our goal is to make purchasing from diverse businesses just as quick, easy, and effective as buying from any other vendor.  We are in the process of designing and building tools and resources to support campus purchasers - we welcome any requests, suggestions, and input from our campus community!

New Policy on Supplier Diversity

As of October 1, 2022, Seattle University has adopted a new Policy on Supplier Diversity. Additionally, the Procurement Policy Statement was updated to include requirements for including diverse vendors in competitive bids.

Ways to Find Diverse Vendors

Ensure Accurate Vendor Information

Help us make sure we have correct vendor information, including their diversity status. If you notice a vendor may not be correctly flagged in ProcureSU, let us know.

  • When processing a new vendor, please have them complete the Vendor Setup Form when you get their W-9.
  • Or, we'll add your new vendors into ProcureSU for you! Just send us the vendor email and we'll contact them to get their W-9 and vendor information and will enter it into ProcureSU for you!
