Dominique Friz graduated from Community Charter Early College High School in Lake View Terrace, CA. She served as the Communications Ambassador for the GEEK Club (Gateway to Education and Equality for Kids) where she organized fundraising to provide scholarships for undocumented students and was a mentor to students preparing for college. Dominique was Co-Founder and President of the NERD Club (Never-Ending Research and Discovery) and Board Member of the Latino Association. She played on the varsity soccer team for 3 years and volunteered at Clinica Medica Jimsher and Farias Family Child Care for 4 years.
Dominique is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and minor in Social Welfare. She works with the non-profit organization, Ventures, to help underrepresented community members expand their entrepreneurial skills. Dominique has worked closely with the OMA (Office of Multicultural Affairs) to join cultural and identity based clubs on campus. She enjoys having the Sullivan community as her roots in a foreign place and her strength in times or weakness.
