Mary-Antoinette Smith, Ph.D.
Associate Professor, English
Director, Sullivan Leadership Program
Mary-Antoinette brings to her role as director nearly fifteen years of service on the Sullivan Selection Committee and an eager passion and enthusiasm for sustaining the promise and integrity of the Sullivan Leadership Program. The program’s five pillars—academic excellence, leadership and service, global engagement, spirituality, community—mirror aspects of her career as a professor, scholar, administrator, and spiritually evolving person for others in the tradition of St. Ignatius of Loyola. She is holistically committed to fostering the growth and development of the Sullivan Scholars as engaged leaders and agents of change, particularly during our current times of local, national, and global challenges.
