Nursing Faculty Dr. Gayle Robinson Awarded Funds from Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to Advance Anti-racist Solutions

Congratulations to Assistant Professor of Nursing Gayle Robinson, PhD, MN, BSN, RN, on her new grant, led by the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation in support of An Overdue Reckoning on Racism in Nursing: An Initiative to Develop Anti-Racism Solutions. Funds totaling $241,000 will enable Dr. Robinson and her colleagues at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst – Dr. Lucinda Canty, Dr. Raeann LeBlanc, and Dr. Gabrielle Abelard – to build upon the work achieved through the interviews and documentaries developed as part of their Reckoning with Racism in Nursing project, which includes expanding anti-racist curriculum and training for nurse leaders and nursing students.
