Mechanical Engineering Faculty Member Awarded Funds from Northwest Kidney Centers

Mechanical Engineering Assistant Teaching Professor Dr. Shen Ren recently received funds from Northwest Kidney Centers via a sub-award through the University of Washington Center for Dialysis Innovation to support work on developing a new generation of artificial kidney. Ren will specifically lead work in the UW core in vitro testing laboratory on novel solute separation and removal technology.
