Madison Bus Rapid Transit Update

The Seattle Department of Transportation is continuing construction on the Madison Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) line adjacent to SU. The BRT will run along Madison Street from 1st Ave. to Martin Luther King, Jr. Way, creating a dedicated bus lane for most of the route, as well as new bus stops, sidewalks, utilities and other streetscape improvements.
During the next several weeks, expect to see SDOT contractors installing new traffic signal poles and other utility work along Madison adjacent to campus. Please keep an eye out for posted detours.
