AccessLex Institute® and the Southern Education Foundation have awarded a new diversity-driven grant to Seattle University. Led by the Law School’s Isabel Freitas Peres and Lily Su, this program will research how self-confidence and past personal and educational experiences can affect law students on the bar exam, with a special focus on BIPOC law students. Based on their findings, Freitas Peres and Su hope to design an intervention that can be applied and replicated in law schools across the country.
