Computer Science Assistant Professor Hidy Kong Awarded NSF Grant

Assistant Professor of Computer Science Hidy Kong has been awarded her first NSF grant from the Directorate of Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE) Research Initiation Initiative (CRII) program. Funding will support Kong in developing visual analysis strategies that integrate multimodal data and machine learning techniques to promote transparent and trustworthy qualitative data analysis. It will also enable her to provide paid research experiences for two undergraduate researchers during both the academic year and summer over the duration of the award.
