Dr. Klaus Vieweg is the author of numerous books on German Idealism and Practical Philosophy. His recently published biography Hegel: Der Philosoph der Freiheit has received international recognition and will soon be translated into English, Chinese, Spanish and Portuguese. Vieweg's presentation will highlight significant connections between Hegel's philosophy and the modern welfare state.
