Audition to be a Part of "Celebrating Laughter, Love and Levity: A Campus Cabaret"

Do you love to write songs or poetry? Are you an actor or a dancer or someone who would like to work on a performance piece but need help finding a community in which to be creative?

Is there an artistic piece you would love to develop for a shared performance space? 

We are looking for performing artists of all kinds to join us in celebrating collective joy and communal storytelling through live performance! 

Who can audition? Any student, faculty or staff currently associated with Seattle University!

How do I prepare for the audition?

  • Solo Artist: Prepare a short excerpt from the song, poem, monologue, dance, stand-up comedy or other act pertaining to the themes of Laugher, Love, and Levity or choose from a list of provided pieces.

  • Artist Groups: Groups should be no larger than 5 people. Prepare a three-minute excerpt from the song, scene, dance or other act pertaining to the themes of Laugher, Love and Levity, or choose from a list of provided pieces. 

When and where will the auditions be held? The Lee Center for the Arts on the NW corner 12th Ave. and Marion St.: Oct. 4–5 , from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

When is the Show? – Nov. 8–20 (Acts may vary on different nights.)
