Each year Christians around the world mark the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity (Jan. 18-25), a time to gather across denominations to celebrate God’s love and pray for visible Christian unity and cooperation.

We will join the commemorations on Sunday, Jan. 23, at the Chapel of St. Ignatius, with Catholic Mass at 11 a.m., and an Ecumenical Worship Service at 8 p.m. Both services will feature preacher Dr. James McCarty, executive director for equity and inclusion at the University of Washington Tacoma. The 8 p.m. service will also include guest musician William Demps, an accomplished recording artist, singer and songwriter. Join either or both services to experience prayer, song and the preached word, as we seek unity as the Body of Christ and act for God's reign of justice and peace. Questions?
