Indigenous Peoples Institute Receives Award from the Tulalip Tribes

Dr. Christina Roberts and the Indigenous Peoples Institute (IPI) were recently awarded a grant from the Tulalip Tribes Charitable Contributions Fund.
Launched in 2016, the IPI supports Native American student success at Seattle University and raises awareness about issues of critical importance to local and global Indigenous peoples. The IPI works to ensure that all Native American students have a home-away-from-home experience at Seattle U as they work toward their degrees. Funding from the Tulalip Tribes will build the visibility, capacity and sustainability of IPI through on-campus programming, summer support for Native youth outreach and IPI organizational development.
