Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month

May 1 marks the start of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI) is honored to highlight the voices, stories and experiences of the AAPI community. To assist ODI in affirming and amplifying the significance of this month, please share with their office any related reading materials, discussions, events or other happenings in your respective units on campus or in the broader community.
The Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage webpage will be posted to ODI’s site during the first week of May and updated throughout the remainder of the month. Please forward any flyers or other announcements that you’ve shared more broadly to Marquinta Obomanu at mobomanu@seattleu.edu by next Thursday, April 28. ODI will continue to do its best to offer a representative list based on a culmination of what they receive and will continue to update the compilation as information is shared.
