2022 Project Positive: Soothe Your Soul

Posted: February 28, 2022

University Recreation is excited to announce its signature event, which takes place Feb. 28-March 6 and features a series of events at Eisiminger Fitness Center and across campus.

Soothing your soul means something different for everyone. We have all had similar and different struggles over the last year. Take the time to sit with the emotions and anxieties that you have gone through recently. Understand that is it important to participate in activities and movements that soothe your soul. Divert your attention to activities that you enjoy. Whether it’s a hike through the mountains, yoga practice or getting competitive in dodgeball, take the time this week to do something for your soul.

Here's the full schedule of events and activities:

  • Monday, Feb. 28: Blacklight Cardio Dance, 7-8 p.m., Studio 1
  • Tuesday, March 1: Yoga for EveryBODY, 7-8 p.m., Studio 1
  • Thursday, March 3: Painting Soothes the Soul w/ OMA and RedhawkTHON, 6-8 p.m., Student Center 322
