Increase Course Availability

Improve course availability and scheduling for first time in college (FTIC) and transfer students by improving access to gateway/pre-requisite courses and by reducing the Core fill rate.


  • Increase course sections that become bottlenecks in Winter Quarter.
  • Review the list of student groups who receive priority registration to ensure critical needs are being addressed.
  • Revise language used in course preference process for new students to provide greater clarity and more realistic expectations.
