Learning Communities are a high-impact practice with the potential to influence student success, engagement, retention, and persistence to graduation positively. Learning communities create interdisciplinary learning environments that can assist students in becoming partners in their own learning. Learning communities encourage students to take an active role in their learning through open communication, creative thinking, negotiation, and mutual respect of each member of the community. We will relaunch of Xavier Global House; Relaunch of Theme Communities with a greater emphasis on collaboration, student engagement, and common educational experiences.
- Relaunch Xavier Global House for Fall 2018
- Establish a theme community for Premajor students in cooperation with Premajor Studies in Bellarmine Hall for Fall 2018
