Alyssa Pereira was born and raised in Redmond, WA. She attended Lake Washington Institute of Technology where she received her Associates of Applied Sciences in Baking Arts. Following her graduation from culinary school, she transferred to North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND. There she received her Bachelor of Science with a double major in Strategic Communication and International Studies. After completing her Bachelor degree, Alyssa was not ready to stop learning. She decided to join the Redhawk community and pursue her Master’s degree in Student Development Administration. As a proud Latina, first-gen student who has been both a commuter and transfer student, she is excited to help students with non-traditional identities find their place on campus!
