Seattle University requires all full-time (enrolled in 12 or more credits) undergraduates to have health insurance. Seattle University contracts the Student Health Insurance Plan through Wells Fargo Insurance Services.
The annual (September 1, 2012 – August 31, 2013) premium of $1353.00 will be billed to the student's account and will automatically be added to students tuition statements. Students who enter in winter or spring quarter will pay a prorated premium. Waivers must be submitted each new academic year to avoid being charged the student health insurance fee.
Waivers must be submitted online (no paper, mail-in, fax-in or call-in waivers are allowed) at the web address provided above by the last day to add/drop courses in the student's first full time quarter. NO late waivers or exceptions will be accepted after the due date.
