We have updated the COVID-19 Test Results submission form with an option to request an off-campus exemption from surveillance testing. Visit the COVID-19 Test Results submission form to request an exemption for Fall Quarter if all of your classes are virtual or you are not coming to campus for any reason, including using the fitness center or library. If your plans change and you will need to visit campus in Fall Quarter or later this year, send an update to email@example.com. If you previously emailed our office to let us know you would not be on campus this quarter, but have yet to fill out the COVID-19 Test Results submission form, please fill out the COVID-19 Test Results submission form to formalize your off-campus testing exemption request.
You must upload your COVID-19 test results to the COVID-19 Test Results submission form. DO NOT UPLOAD TO THE STUDENT HEALTH CENTER MEDICAT PORTAL. If you submitted your results to the Student Health Portal or anywhere else, you need to resubmit your results to the COVID-19 Test Results submission form. These systems do not connect with each other and there is no way for us to verify your results if you did not submit them to the COVID-19 Test Results submission form.
Yes, Entry testing is for all students regardless of their vaccination status.
No, antibody testing does not meet the requirement both both PCR and antigen are accepted.
If you tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 90 days do not need to get retested during this time period. This is due to studies showing RNA for SARS-CoV-2 can still be detected in someone’s respiratory specimens for up to 12 weeks although they are no longer contagious.
If this is your situation please upload your positive test results to patient portal and notify the student health center through secure messaging. If you are still symptomatic you should not come to campus until you are no longer contagious.
Students who think they had COVID-19 but didn’t not have laboratory proof are still required to submit a negative COVID-19 test.
For most home self tests the answer is no. The exception is if there is a virtual observation component that results in a document with your name, date of birth, date test was done, and test result.

Staff and faculty members taking classes are not required to participate in entry testing. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if this applies to you. This does not apply to students who work on campus in student employment positions.
