Check out the different events and offerings taking place this week at Seattle University.

Fitness Center Winter Break Hours
The William F. Eisiminger Fitness Center will be operating under limited hours during the winter break. Weekday hours are 7 a.m.-8 p.m. and weekend hours are 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Lap swim hours through Dec. 14 are 7-9 a.m., 11:30 a.m-1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Morning lap swim is cancelled Dec. 17-21. Weekend lap swim is noon-2 p.m. There will be no lap swim Dec. 26-28. The Fitness Center will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year?s Eve and New Year?s Day. Regular operational hours will resume Monday, Jan. 7, with the start of the winter quarter. For more information, visit University Recreation.
The Intersection of Law and Nursing
Friday, Dec. 14, 1-5 p.m.
Casey Building
This afternoon program brings nurses and lawyers together to explore the important and ever-changing landscape of nursing malpractice. Highly experienced professionals will discuss standards of care, flag danger zones that trigger claims and map out what might be expected in a disciplinary or malpractice scenario. Lawyers, nurses and related professionals are welcome, as we encourage a rich multidisciplinary discussion. 3.75 CLE credits for Washington lawyers are approved; CEs for nurses are pending.
