At Seattle University's School of Theology and Ministry, we benefit from a rich exchange of songs and hymns, prayers and practices from Christian traditions--as well as from our interfaith partners and spiritual but not religious students. We exchange these arts and practices daily in the classroom, weekly in student community groups, as well as daily, weekly and monthly in worship and liturgy together.
One tangible, experiential exchange takes place in the school's morning prayer services throughout the academic quarter. Morning prayer is held Tuesday mornings during the quarter in the Chapel of St. Ignatius.

Another way to engage in prayer and mindfulness with the school community is to participate in Mid-Morning Prayer Breaks. Held in the first floor hallway outside the classrooms in Hunthausen Hall, these breaks bring faculty, staff, students, and guests together in prayer, song, meditation, silence, and reflection followed by refreshments and fellowship.
