Last January, 3,123 men, women and children were counted without basic shelter in King County, a 14 percent increase in unsheltered homelessness from last year. The school's Faith & Family Homelessness Project is participating in this event where 3,123 pairs of shoes are being collected to make a public statement about the need to expand shelter and end homelessness in King County. Shoes in reusable condition will be donated after the event. Click here for drop-off locations.
