This Spring Quarter, current student Missy Trull will be taking over@seattleustm on Instagram--offering the latest #studenttakeover series of photos that chronicle “A Day in the Life of a Student.”
We look forward to following Missy this quarter, as she navigates the Master of Divinity Chaplaincy program. Many thanks to Doctor of Minisrty student, Edward Donalson, who served as our #studenttakeover this past Winter Quarter! Missy finds herself in a juggling act most weeks, shuffling responsibilities of work, school, and her internship, but each piece hanging in the air before it is caught and thrown up again is quite lovely. She works at SU in Contextual Education with Dr. Mark Hearn and finds working at SU both challenging and deeply engaging. Her internship at Recovery Cafe may be "the most beautiful community I have ever been apart of" and school, of course, is all things terrifying and thrilling. Missy also works as a lay pastor for children and family ministries at St. Paul's Episcopal church and it is here she believes her spirit finds room and company to roam around the glory of God. Apart from all the responsibilities, Missy loves her friends, she loves to run, she loves to play around with art supplies, and she loves to read with a cup of coffee.
