Students, faculty, staff, and community members gather for worship and liturgy throughout the year as a part of Seattle University's School of Theology and Ministry. Worship director, Dr. Mark Lloyd Taylor, and graduate assistants offer special blog posts?on a daily and weekly basis to support the spiritual life of the school community. Every day, blog posts feature the ?daily cycle of prayer? where scripture passages are listed for the day?s reading, as well as the names of students, faculty, staff and particular classes that are to be prayed for on that day.
For this year?s annual Week of Prayer, partner pastoral leaders, alumni, students, and faculty are sharing daily reflections and prayers that will be featured on the school's Worship & Liturgy blog. Subscribers also receive the posts delivered to their email directly. The Week of Prayer begins Sunday, January 18th and extends through Sunday, January 25th.
