The Holocaust challenges all peoples and nations?and people of faith in particular?to stand against genocide, bigotry and racism wherever they occur. Mindful of this challenge, Seattle University Campus Ministry, School of Theology and Ministry, Jewish Student Union and Institute for Catholic Thought & Culture co-sponsor an annual Holocaust Commemoration Day as both a reminder of past horrors and a call to action to prevent future tragedies. This year we will hear courageous stories from a survivor of the Holocaust and an American soldier who participated in the liberation of a Holocaust camp.
