From Serving Money to Serving Life: A Sacred Story for our Time
Wednesday, April 22 ?| ?7:00-8:30pm
Join the Center for a special Earth Day event featuring international best-selling author David Korten. In his latest book Change the Story, Change the Future: A Living Economy for a Living Earth,?Korten notes that human societies are shaped by the sacred stories around which we organize. Although one of the most foundational biblical stories tells us that we must choose service to life over service to money, our society has organized around an economy that leads us to serve money, rather than life. Korten will examine why our society fails to address this issue and how our religious and educational institutions are being called to respond.?
