Seattle University is excited to host the Northwest Center for Creative Aging and the Horizon House community for the "Day of Learning." Longtime partners of the school, the Northwest Center for Creative Aging shares in the Jesuit ideal of addressing the whole person--they seek to address mind, body, and spirit through programs committed to helping adults find their purpose and live into their potential as they age. The "Day of Learning" is an on-campus experience for older adults to have an on-campus college experience engaging in class and discussion with a variety of Seattle University's most notable professors. Two of these notable professors will be the School of Theology and Ministry's very own Dr. Michael Reid Trice and Dr. Gloria Burgess. Dr. Trice serves as the school's Assistant Dean of Ecumenical & Interreligious Dialogue as well as an Assistant Professor of Theological Ethics and Constructive Theology. Dr. Gloria Burgess is adjunct faculty at the school and has been teaching transformational leadership for over 30 years.
