Seattle University?s annual Catholic Heritage Lectures engages the intellectual and religious communities of the Seattle area as well as the university community to explore aspects of the Catholic intellectual tradition and the intersection of Catholicism and culture. Inspired by Laudato Si?, Pope Francis? encyclical on the environment, the year-long series ?Embracing the Challenge? and related programming will follow the movements of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius. Each lecture will begin at 7 p.m. in the Pigott Auditorium and will include a discussion between the keynote speaker and a panel of experts.
