Graduate Blessing Service,
School of Theology and Ministry
All students, faculty, and staff at Seattle University's School of Theology and Ministry as well as graduating students' family and friends are invited to the annual Graduate Blessing Service in the Chapel of St. Ignatius, otherwise known as the Graduating Students' Liturgy. The Service is an opportunity for our community to celebrate graduating students' accomplishments and future endeavors.

A celebratory barbeque (or indoor picnic) will follow the Graduate Blessing Service on the Union Green (across from the Chapel) if the weather permits, or in Campion Ballroom.

Baccalaureate Mass, Seattle University
Students of all faiths and their families are invited and encouraged to participate in the Baccalaureate Mass. Seating is limited. All degree candidates are to wear their caps, gowns and hoods and may change into academic robes in St. James Cathedral Hall, entrance on Columbia Street beginning at 1:30pm.
If you would like to take part in the processional, please be at the Cathedral main entrance (on Ninth Avenue) by 2:15pm. The processional will begin at 2:30pm with faculty members leading the group. For this event, there is no precise marching order; simply line up two-by-two. Faculty marshals will direct you into pews and organize the recessional from the church.

Come celebrate the commencement of the Class of 2014! Graduates, please arrive no later than 2:15pm for the processional line up. Please note: doors will not open until 2:00pm at the KeyArena.
Participants and guests can park in pay parking garages near KeyArena. Disabled parking is available in all garages. There are garages at 220 1st Ave. N (across from KeyArena); 650 3rd Ave. N (approx. 2 blocks away); and 516 Harrison St (approx. 5 blocks away).?
All degree candidates are to wear their caps, gowns, and hoods for commencement. Please have your guests hold your cell phone, purse, bag, coat etc. during the ceremony as there is no secured location for these items in KeyArena, and you likely will not want to process with them. Please remember to keep your name card (that the bookstore issued) with you!
