The school's Faith & Family Homelessness Project in conjunction with Campus Ministry invites students to join them for 2015 Advocacy Days at the state's capitol. The group will travel together to speak with legislators and lobby for more just policies.?
Housing & Homelessness Advocacy Day
Tuesday, February 17 ?| ?8:00 a.m.- 6:00p.m.
There will be a meeting at noon on Thursday, February 12, to discuss the legislative agenda for the day.
Interfaith Advocacy Day
Thursday, February 19 ?| ?8:00 a.m.- 5:00p.m.
Seattle University's Campus Ministry and Faith Action Network are leading a group to lobby legislators regarding matters of justice relevant to people of all faiths on Interfaith Advocacy Day. The theme for the day will be Act on the Dream: Invest in the Common Good.On campus, students will be participating in social media advocacy through a special photobooth located in the entrance to the Pigott Building.
