Pastor, True Vine of Holiness Church

Rev. Lawrence Willis was born in San Diego, CA, and is married to Lady Carole Stephanie Willis. Together they have five children. He has been the Pastor of True Vine of Holiness Missionary Baptist Church since 2001. 

From 2009 to 2016, Rev. Willis was the President of the United Black Christian Clergy. He currently serves as a Board Member for the City of Seattle’s Women and Minority-Owned Business Enterprise and the Low-Income Housing Institute (LIHI). Pastor Willis is also a facilitator and sponsor for My Brother’s Keeper and Cities United. 

Rev. Willis is the Program Administrator of the Pre-Apprenticeship Construction Training Program at Seattle Vocational Institute and was a Journeyman Carpenter from 1992-2003. In 2015, he was awarded the Washington State African American Achievement Award and an Exceptional Community Service award for Community Partnership for Transition Services. Pastor Willis has also been acknowledged for his work in the area of racial, social and economic justice by the Washington Community Action Network.
