Dora "D" Krasucki


Co-Founder/Minister, Matt Talbot Center

Ms. Krasucki was born in Seattle and raised in St. Therese Parish. She is a mother of three daughters, the grandmother of seven grandchildren, and the wife of Gregory Alex. She and her husband founded the Matt Talbot Center 32 years ago to serve Seattle’s homeless, addicted, and mentally ill.

Ms. Krasucki received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Seattle University in 1974. In 1979, she received a Master of Public Administration from the University of Washington. She also received her Master of Divinity from Seattle University in 2000 and completed the Pastoral Leadership Program in 2008. Ms. Krasucki attended Portland State University to study Interpersonal Neurobiology and is a current School of Theology and Ministry Doctoral Candidate.  She also spent over 18 years at King County Detoxification Center, retiring as the Director of Nursing Services.

Ms. Krasucki has been in the field of Addiction for over 35 years.  Her current ministry is to homeless, addicted and mentally ill women and she is the visionary behind Mary McClinton Home for Women, a ministry of the Matt Talbot Center. Her passions are Scripture, prayer and helping people find their healing.
