  • All credits are quarter credits
  • Years average is based on FT at 3 classes per quarter

I. Scripture (18 credits)

  • Hebrew Scriptures: Wisdom and Narratives
  • Hebrew Scriptures: Prophetic Context
  • Christian Scriptures: Narratives
  • Christian Scriptures: Letters
  • Elective in Hebrew Scripture
  • Elective of Christian Scripture

II. Systematic and Historical Theology (24 credits)

  • Methods and Contexts of Theological Reflection
  • Theology of the Human Person
  • Jesus the Christ
  • Theology, Ecumenism, and Pluralism
  • God and the World
  • Elective in Systematic Theology
    Choose two (2) of the following courses:
  • History of Ancient Christianity
  • History of Christian Spirituality
  • History of Medieval Christianity
  • History of the Reformation

III. Spirituality, Ethics, and Justice (21 credits)

  • Christian Theological Ethics
  • Community, Culture, and Justice
  • Christian Spirituality and Prayer
  • Psychospiritual Development
  • Spiritual Discernment
  • Contemporary Expressions in Spirituality
  • Elective in Ethics or Justice

IV. Skills and Ministerial Formation (18 credits)

  • Professional Care Skills
  • Internship & Integration I, II, III & IV
  • Elective in Religious Education

V. Worship and Liturgy Courses (6 credits)

  • Sacramental and Liturgical Theology or Theology and Practice of Worship
  • Elective in Worship/Liturgy

VI. Program Synthesis (3 credits)

  • MDiv Synthesis
