Executive Director, Homestead Community Land Trust
Kathleen Hosfeld is the Executive Director of Homestead Community Land Trust, which she joined in 2014, with a background in stakeholder-based strategic planning and organizational change.
Since 1989, she has worked with mission-based for-profit and not-for-profit enterprises, using a collaborative approach to growing organizations and strengthening their impact. Her work at Homestead builds on prior experience in commercial real estate and commitments to environmental sustainability, social justice, inclusion and equity. In addition to providing overall agency leadership, Kathleen also leads Homestead’s various grant-making and community partnership initiatives, which seek to grow the number of permanently affordable homes for ownership in our region.
Drawn to Homestead by its democratic governance and community ownership values, Ms. Hosfeld seeks to deepen Homestead’s diversity and culture of racial and social equity. She recently completed a Master of Arts in Transforming Spirituality at Seattle University and is a spiritual director.
