All of life happens in context. We recognize that learning does too.
We've reimagined what it looks like to meld classroom learning with practicum and internship learning throughout each degree program. Students are enrolled in special synthesis courses with their peers and with faculty support throughout their internships—ensuring that every last drop of the experience is held and seen.
Students work with a faculty member (Dr. Mark Hearn for Pastoral Studies, Transforming Spirituality, Divinity, Transformational Leadership and Dr. Becky Cobb for Couples & Family Therapy) to handpick an internship site location that presents the challenges and growth areas they need most.
