All faculty and grant-seeking staff are encouraged to join us for our first workshop of the year, Identifying Funding Sources, when we will discuss strategies for finding appropriate funding opportunities and developing key words for an efficient on-line search, as well as learn about the Library’s new Funding Resources Guide.

At this event, faculty from all SU colleges will present their work in a fun, informal and fast-paced format. WQ Peer Learning Group

This quarter's agenda will have a focus on allowability when making purchases on grants, where we'll hear from our Grant Accountant. The Office of Sponsored Projects (OSP) team invites all staff who are responsible for the management of grant programs and/or grant budgets to gather with peers over coffee and tea to discuss relevant issues, policy updates and learn about the sponsored project activity on our campus. Winter Faculty Workshop

In WQ, the OSP will host a faculty-focused workshop titled Essentials of Grant Development where we will explore how you can position yourself for success when writing grant proposals. A Monday and Thursday session will be offered to accommodate different schedules. Please keep an eye out for updates!

SPRING QUARTER

Spring Faculty Workshop

In this workshop, Creating a Funding Roadmap, learn from a panel of your peers about their research and external funding 'journeys,' reflect on your own action plan for the coming summer and year, and learn about navigating the proposal development and submission process.

OSP Year End Celebration

Join us in early June for our annual end-of-year open house to celebrate the sponsored project successes over academic year 2019-20!
