Fly into Seatac airport (SEA). Follow the signs from baggage claim to Ground Transportation. Take a cab or a Shuttle Express van. The drive to Seattle University takes about 25 minutes, depending on traffic. Save your cab or van receipt for reimbursement. Alternatively, Light Rail trains leave the airport about every 10 minutes. Use Metro Trip Planner to get the best light rail and bus route for your arrival time. This is one route option: Get off at Pioneer Square Station, climb the stairs to James St., and take the #3 or #4 bus eastbound (up the hill) about a mile and get off at Jefferson and Broadway. The entrance to campus is three short blocks north at Columbia St., across from Swedish Hospital. Fare for the train is $3.00 and fare for the bus is $2.50-$2.75 (depending on time of travel).
Take I-5 towards downtown Seattle. Take the James St. exit. (If coming from the south, prepare to cross two lanes of traffic to the right quickly after the first stage of the exit ramp.) Turn E. onto James Street. After about a mile, turn left onto 12th Ave. Seattle U will be on your left. Enter by taking the second left at Marion.
