Research Interests:

The subject of my research is system software support (distributed middleware) for working with Fog Computing and the Internet of Things. I am working on developing a software platform for municipal Internet of Things (IoT) applications, which is when sensors and compute/storage resources from multiple administrative domains are combined in federated applications.

I have created a system that manages distributed, computational resources and facilitates executing IoT analysis applications that include rich algorithms, e.g., including computer vision and machine learning. It also provides support for the component-based development of such applications, as well as for sensor stream management.
