Are you a prospective post-baccalaureate student?

Do you already have a bachelor’s degree from an institution in the U.S. or Canada?

                Yes – Proceed to next question

                                No – Apply as a transfer student for a bachelor’s degree – BA Biology

Do you have a combined GPA (from every college or university you have attended) of no less than 3.0 for your overall GPA, and science classes (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Math especially)?

                Yes – Proceed to next question

                                No - Apply as transfer student for second bachelor’s degree - BA Biology; Or go to the American Association of Medical Colleges website for post-baccalaureate programs at https://apps.aamc.org/postbac/ ; under “special program focus” select the filter “academic record repair”

Have you completed no more than 6 quarter or 4 semester credit classes in Biology or Chemistry?

                Yes – Proceed to next question

                                 No - Apply as transfer student for second bachelor’s degree -  BA Biology or Biochemistry; Or go to the American Association of  Medical Colleges website for post-baccalaureate programs at https://apps.aamc.org/postbac/ ; under “special program focus” select the filter “academic record repair”

Did you complete at least 2 terms (quarter or semester) of math (not including AP, IB, or CLEP credits) while enrolled in your undergraduate degree, and up to at least Pre-Calculus?

                Yes – Proceed to next question

                                No -You will need to complete either 2 quarters of Pre-Calculus or 1 quarter of Calculus prior to beginning our program. Students can be accepted while the courses are in-progress.

Did you complete at least 1 term of Chemistry in college, or 1 year of Chemistry in high school within the last five years?

                Yes – Proceed to next question

                                 No - You will need to complete 1 term of Preparatory Chemistry at the community college level prior to beginning our program. Students can be accepted while the course is in progress

If you have answered “Yes” to all these questions you qualify for admission to the Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Health program. Students who apply by the March 1st deadline will be able to register for fall classes in late April. Students who apply after the application deadline are not guaranteed a seat in the program, or the science classes they need.
